Elsewhere, the day of the summer fete has arrived and all the contenders of the scarecrow competition eagerly await the results. Also, Ethan takes delight in telling the Bishop that Ashley and Laurel aren’t getting on at the moment and spills the beans about Ashley's father who was supposedly ‘dead’.
